- NET prices are based on ten paying wheelchair users plus two accompanying staff members, with two local assistants.
- The accompanying staff receive free standard twin-sharing accommodation with breakfast under the source group basis.
- The proposed transport is two adapted Sprinters and a separate luggage and mobility-equipment vehicle. Ramp/lift specifications, wheelchair spaces and restraint systems must be agreed for the actual chairs before booking.
- Hotel room sizes alone do not establish accessibility. Confirm door widths, bathroom layout, turning space, bed height and transfer requirements for every guest.

- This is a proposed access plan, not a certification that every site is step-free.
- The source has conflicting statements about remaining in a wheelchair on Tufandag and Ferris-wheel rides. Cabin dimensions, boarding method and operator acceptance require written confirmation before inclusion.
- Local assistants provide logistical and physical assistance, not nursing or personal care. Any transfer or lifting plan must be agreed with the traveller and appropriate support personnel.
- The mud-volcano trip uses rough local off-road transport. Guests may decline and remain with the support team.
- No universal claim is made that two assistants can manage every wheelchair or transfer. Share individual needs before a final operational plan is accepted.
This eight-day programme is planned for ten paying wheelchair users and two accompanying staff, with an English-speaking guide, two local assistants and a separate vehicle for luggage and mobility equipment. It spends four nights in Baku and three in Gabala.
Start with the individual access requirements
Share each wheelchair's dimensions and weight, whether the guest can transfer, their bathroom and bed requirements, and the support travelling with them. The final offer needs a vehicle seating plan and written room specifications. A spacious cottage is not automatically an adapted bathroom or a step-free room.
Historic sites and mountain visits
Old City lanes, Lahij, Sheki and Kish have uneven surfaces or steps. Diri Baba is planned from below. Museum visits and outdoor routes are selected against the access assessment; a site name in the programme does not mean every interior is included or reachable.
Tufandag, the Ferris wheel and local mud-volcano transport require particular attention. We confirm the boarding and transfer procedure before booking, and agree alternatives where an activity does not suit an individual traveller.

Questions travelers ask
- Can guests remain in their wheelchairs during all journeys?
- That depends on the confirmed vehicle, chair dimensions and restraint system. Cable-car and Ferris-wheel boarding also need operator approval. The programme does not assume that every guest can transfer or use the same equipment.
- Are personal-care services included?
- No. The two local assistants provide physical and logistical support. Nursing, personal care and any specialist transfer support must be arranged separately where needed.
- Which hotels are proposed?
- Deluxe pairs Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard with Gabala Garden cottages. Lux pairs Ritz-Carlton Baku with Qafqaz Riverside villas. Suitable rooms and layouts must be confirmed for each guest.
