Choose a specific accessible route with a local guide or operator; a national-park name alone does not establish a trail, entrance point or opening hours. Is Lankaran a day trip from Baku?
It can be. The Tourism Board's sample Baku-to-Lankaran programme runs for approximately 15 hours. That is a long day once travel and stops are included. An overnight lets you separate the city and food from the lake or forest, and gives you more flexibility if a plantation visit needs an appointment. For a longer southern route, continue toward Lerik in the Talysh foothills.
