Gabala by train or private road trip?
Azerbaijan Railways lists a Baku–Gabala passenger route, and its published timetable has shown a return service on non-working days. Treat that as a planning option, not a ticket or operating guarantee: check the chosen date, seat inventory and final return before booking. Gabala station is not Nohur Lake or Tufandag, so the rail option also needs a station-to-sites plan.
The private road route on this page starts and ends at your Baku address and can include a Shamakhi stop if the time budget works. If you prefer rail, say so in the enquiry and ask for a separate station transfer and site schedule. Compare the complete door-to-door day, not just the train fare or vehicle line.

Can I visit Gabala from Baku in one day?
A same-day private return is possible, but it is a long road day. Choose a small number of Gabala stops and confirm the pickup time, route, traffic allowance and return time in the proposal. An overnight gives you more time in the region.
Can I take a train from Baku to Gabala for a day trip?
Azerbaijan Railways lists a Baku–Gabala passenger route. Check outbound and return service for the exact date, then allow for a separate transfer from Gabala station to the sites you want. This page quotes a private road excursion; a rail-based day needs a different transport brief.
What can a private Gabala day trip include?
