This 5-day Azerbaijan itinerary uses four hotel nights: Baku, Baku, Gabala and Baku. It lets you see the capital and make one westbound overnight without putting a long regional return immediately before an early flight.

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board's Gabala guide identifies Nohur Lake and Tufandag among the area's attractions. Its Shamakhi guide identifies the Juma Mosque as a heritage stop. Check current access, weather and operating hours before attaching any activity to a dated programme.
Why not put Sheki and Gobustan into every day?
Sheki sits farther along the western route. An overnight there can replace Gabala, but trying to give both towns separate nights while keeping two initial Baku nights and a final Baku night requires five hotel nights. That is six calendar days. The seven-day Baku, Gabala and Sheki itinerary is a more useful fit if all three places matter.
Gobustan's rock-art reserve is about 60 kilometres south of Baku, in the opposite direction from the Gabala transfer. What to send for a useful five-day quote
Send your arrival and departure flights, the number of adults and children, room split, hotel level, guide language, walking pace and your top two sights. Say whether the Gabala stop is for mountain views, a lake visit, a family activity or simply a quieter overnight. Ask for a written total that separates included services from optional admissions and meals.

- Is five days enough for Azerbaijan?
- Five calendar days and four hotel nights work for Baku plus one western overnight in Gabala. They do not allow relaxed time in Baku, Gabala and Sheki together. Count late arrival and early departure as travel time, not full sightseeing days.
- Can I add Sheki to this five-day Azerbaijan itinerary?
- You can replace the Gabala overnight with Sheki and treat Gabala as a short transfer stop, but the road days become longer. For distinct Gabala and Sheki nights and a final Baku night before an early flight, ask for at least six days or compare the seven-day route.
- Does this five-day route have a fixed price or departure?
