Formula 1's completed 2026 event page lists practice on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September, qualifying on Friday 25 and the race on Saturday 26 September. What did the 2026 seat comparison reveal about group buying?

The Baku City Circuit's 2025 closure notice is a historical example of how a temporary street circuit changes central access. Its dates, permit windows and traffic restrictions belonged to 2025. They must not be copied into a 2026 recap or a 2027 guest run sheet.

For a new programme, ask the promoter and named hotel for the applicable season's official closure map, permitted pickup locations, guest gate, luggage route and accessible route. A hotel shown near the circuit on a map is not proof that a coach can reach its entrance during track operations.

What did the 2026 hotel and departure brief need to answer?

The pre-race decision was a trade-off between a hotel near the assigned gate and a property with a practical vehicle-access route. The 2026 race finished on Saturday 26 September, and Sunday 27 September was Azerbaijan's Remembrance Day.
