$19,428Whole group
  • All amounts are provisional source NET estimates for three families travelling together: 14 guests, comprising seven adults and seven children. No supplier rate or hotel room is secured.
  • Family prices are allocations within this shared group, not separate private-tour prices for one family travelling alone. A different group composition requires a new quote.
  • The proposed price basis is three family rooms with separate beds for all guests. Room capacity, child occupancy and connecting-room availability need written hotel confirmation. A six-room alternative is priced separately.
  • Eight- and nine-day estimates retain the source amounts; their final route and overnight split must be agreed before booking.
What's included
  • Five hotel nights and daily breakfast for the six-day option
  • Private airport transfers, intercity journeys and scheduled local touring and dinner transfers
  • English-speaking guide and winter driver, including their regional accommodation and meals
  • Fuel, tolls, parking, agreed child restraints and winter vehicle equipment
  • One Shahdag pedestrian gondola return itinerary per guest, subject to operation
  • One two-run tubing allocation per eligible participant
  • Carpet Museum entry in the six-day programme
  • One bottle of water per person per day
  • Restaurant coordination and halal menu requests
Not included
  • International flights, visa fees and travel or winter-sports insurance
  • Lunches, dinners, snacks and drinks unless added to the written quote
  • Ski lessons, rental equipment, helmets and ski lift passes
  • Winter clothing, extra rides and repeat-day cable-car tickets
  • Spa treatments, babysitting, gratuities and personal expenses
  • Early check-in, late check-out and extra hotel nights
Booking terms
  • Source payment basis: 25% deposit and the remaining balance seven days before arrival, unless different supplier terms are agreed in writing.
  • Source cancellation basis: seven or more days before arrival, no cancellation fee except non-refundable supplier costs; three to six days, 50%; fewer than three days or no-show, 100%. Supplier-specific conditions are disclosed before confirmation and payment.
Good to know
  • The snow photograph illustrates Shahdag; it does not show current conditions. Snow cover, lift operation and activity openings vary.
  • The guide accompanies touring but is not a childminder. Parents remain responsible for supervising children.
  • The vehicle specification and luggage capacity are confirmed for all 14 guests, the guide and the actual luggage count. Share children’s heights and weights for restraints.
  • The daily six-day programme includes exterior Old City visits and Carpet Museum admission. Any additional museum or palace entry must be itemised in the final quote.

The six-day Baku and Shahdag winter programme gives families a full day at the resort, with three nights in Baku and two in Shahdag. The base activities suit a mixed group of skiers and non-skiers: a pedestrian gondola ride, a limited tubing allocation and time for snow play when conditions allow.

Hotels and family rooms

The source proposes Movenpick Winter Park Baku and Park Chalet at Shahdag. Its price basis uses three family rooms for the three families. The exact room types, bed counts and child occupancy need confirmation from the hotels before booking. Connecting doors are a request, not a guaranteed feature.

Choosing the length

Four days gives a short snow introduction with one Shahdag night and an abbreviated Baku walk. Five days adds a full Baku sightseeing day. Six days gives two Shahdag nights; seven days adds another mountain night and time to reschedule activities around short closures. Repeated rides are charged separately.

The eight- and nine-day options add Gabala and Tufandag. Their published estimates appear in the price table. We agree the final overnight split and transfer plan before confirming either extension.

Meals, snow and optional skiing

Breakfast is included. The guide can arrange restaurant tables, prayer stops and halal menu requests; restaurant selection does not imply halal certification. Lunch and dinner are paid separately unless included in your written quote.

Ski tuition, equipment and the appropriate lift pass can be quoted for named participants. Tell us each participant's age and experience so the lesson grouping is suitable. The base sightseeing gondola ticket is not a ski pass. When conditions stop an activity, any replacement or refund follows the supplier terms agreed at booking.

For a family route focused on warmer-season sightseeing, compare the Baku, Gabala and Shahdag family itinerary.

If your family is still choosing a mountain base, compare Gabala and Shahdag for children, ski days and transfers.

Frequently asked

Questions travelers ask

What does the six-day family programme cost?
The provisional source NET estimate is USD 12,810 for all 14 guests travelling together. Family allocations are USD 4,052, USD 4,780 and USD 3,978 for the specific family compositions in the table.
Can a family of four book at the published family price?
Those amounts allocate costs within a shared group of three families. A family of four travelling alone needs a separate quote because vehicle and guide costs are shared differently.
Does the package include skiing?
The base includes a pedestrian gondola itinerary and one two-run tubing allocation for eligible guests. Ski lessons, equipment and ski lift passes are optional and have no confirmed published supplement.
Can we choose four, five, seven, eight or nine days?
Yes. The source has all six duration options. Four to seven days focus on Baku and Shahdag. Eight and nine days add Gabala, with the final route, transfer plan and hotel-night allocation agreed before booking.
