The Azerbaijan Tourism Board describes the Gobustan rock-art reserve and nearby mud volcanoes; its Baku sights guide also identifies Ateshgah and Yanar Dag. These are destination options, not a promise that every stop fits one departure.

Staying in the city or travelling further?
If you want Old City and central Baku sights, start with the private Baku city tour. If Sheki, Khinalig or several regions are priorities, compare multi-day Azerbaijan tours or request a custom private itinerary. A day-trip quote should not disguise an exhausting multi-region schedule.

Which day trip from Baku should I choose?
Choose Gobustan for rock art and a possible mud-volcano extension, Absheron for the fire-heritage sites, or Gabala if you accept a long road day for mountain scenery. Give us your date, interests and latest return time so the proposal can show a realistic route.
Can Gobustan and Absheron be combined in one day?
A combined route can be proposed, but it is a fuller day with less time at each site. The quotation should show the stop order, road allowance, admissions, vehicle requirements and return target rather than promising every attraction.
Are a private guide and entry tickets included?
Do not assume either is included. Ask the dated quote to separate the driver, guide language, admissions, special vehicles, meals and any site-specific access conditions.
Can I visit Sheki or Khinalig as a Baku day trip?
Those routes involve substantial driving and are generally better assessed as overnight or multi-day itineraries. Ask for a realistic road and visit-time plan before deciding on a same-day return.
