An international wedding planner can keep the couple relationship and creative direction while briefing a Baku-based team for guest travel and local delivery. The split is not automatic. Entry and civil-marriage questions are separate

Create a manifest with each guest's passport, any residence status relevant to entry, intended travel mode and stay length. Do not classify the whole guest list as “Indian” or “GCC” and apply one visa rule. The State Migration Service's 2026 notice describes a time-limited visa-free tourism arrangement for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain; it does not answer every nationality, purpose or later wedding date. A symbolic wedding ceremony is not the same as a state-registered marriage. Compare venues using the same seated plan

A venue's published maximum can refer to theatre, standing reception or another layout. For a wedding, request a drawing that includes dining tables, stage or mandap, dance floor, catering stations, guest movement, production access and an indoor alternative if the event uses an outdoor area. The number left for seated guests must come from that actual room and design; there is no defensible standard “two-thirds of brochure capacity” rule.

Reconfirm operation, exact capacity, event access, menu policy, room block and availability with the property. Do not describe a hotel or beachfront venue as closed, reopened or contractable on an older page's claim alone.

Make food requirements verifiable

“Halal,” “vegetarian” and “Jain” describe different requirements. A national halal-tourism standard is not a blanket certification of every Baku kitchen. Ask each selected venue whether it can document the requested standard for the actual menu and supply chain. For vegetarian and vegan guests, specify stock, fat, dairy, eggs and preparation surfaces; for Jain guests, specify the ingredients to exclude and whether separate utensils or an external caterer are needed. The host venue must approve any outside kitchen in writing.

Traditional dish names alone are poor dietary labels. The Azerbaijan Tourism Board's dolma recipe includes meat, and its plov recipe also uses meat. A kitchen may make a suitable variant, but ask for ingredients and preparation rather than assuming every dolma or plov is vegetarian.
