Three days in Baku can cover the historic centre, selected modern sights, one Absheron fire site and Gobustan without changing hotels. This itinerary means three full sightseeing days and three Baku nights. Arrive before the first morning and depart after the third night. If you only have three calendar days between flights, use the shorter version below.

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board's Old City guide identifies Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshahs' Palace as core historic sites. Its Absheron fire-sites guide covers Ateshgah and Yanar Dag. Gobustan is about 60 kilometres south of Baku, which is why it has its own excursion day here.
If you have only three calendar days and two nights
Count the flight hours first. With a late arrival and early departure, you may have only one full day: keep that day for the Old City and one modern-city priority. With earlier arrival and later departure, add either Gobustan or an Absheron fire site. Do not price a three-excursion programme before the usable hours are known.

What to check in the private quote
Send arrival and departure times, hotel preference, party size, walking pace, guide language and the two places you most want to see. Ask for the route and transport hours, museum admissions, weather alternative for the mud-volcano access road, airport transfers, taxes and cancellation terms to be written into the dated proposal. - Are three days enough for Baku?
- Three full sightseeing days allow an Old City day, a city-and-Absheron day and a separate Gobustan excursion while keeping one Baku hotel. If your arrival and departure flights use two of those days, choose fewer excursions or add nights.
- Does this three-day itinerary mean two or three hotel nights?
- This version has three full sightseeing days and three Baku hotel nights. Arrive before the first sightseeing morning and depart after the third night. A three-calendar-day, two-night weekend has less usable time and needs a shorter route.
- Can I include Gabala or Sheki in three days?
- Not comfortably on this Baku-based plan. Gabala and Sheki lie west of the capital and require substantial road time. Choose a longer trip with a regional overnight if those places are priorities.
- Are the guide, vehicle and admissions included?
